Soft Enamel Die Struck

Soft enamel Die struck lapel pins are a wonderful and economical option for your pins. The die is ‘stamped’ into the base metal and hand-filled with soft enamel (paint). The pins are then kiln-fired which when dry the paint is ever so slightly recessed. The fine raised metal details which separate each enamel color is then slightly raised giving your pins a lovely dimensional appearance that you can see and feel. You can choose to put a thin epoxy over the top of the pins which gives the lapel pins a smooth overall appearance. Soft enamel die struck can be used on several different base metals including iron, copper and brass. Iron being the least expensive of the 3 options
